Second night on the Cassiar Hwy is Dease Lake. This RV park offers more gravel than grass. There are still the three foot posts with numbers marking the individual sites. It's amazing what people will pay to park their RV in a gravel parking lot just so they can have power (for the TV or clothes dryers), water (for showers or washing machines) and sewer (well, you know). Would you believe $20 to $30 a night. Well, that is cheaper than a hotel room (if there was one - but there wasn't) and you don't figure in the cost of the RV itself - - anywhere from $7,000 like a VW bus all the way to, who knows, a $1,000,000+/-.
Silly photographer didn't get pictures of lake itself but it's big, very blue and wonderful to look at.
